| In
order to start a support session you will need to create an account
with VNCTech.com. You can create an account very easily by simply
connecting to our online live support chat technicians or by emailing us
with your information via our Contact Form. Once your account is created
and a form of payment is accepted (all major credit cards and Pay Pal),
we will create a session identification number for you. You will then
use the link a the top of this page labeled "Begin Session" to open the
necessary web page for your session to start. From that page you will
click the "Join" option and enter the information requested including
your session identification number. Once this is done, your session with
our online technicians will begin. |
|
|
Our free trial consists of a session identification number that will
allow you to test our system by viewing our technicians as they check
your machine for various problems. The session is designed to
demonstrate the speed and reliability of our services but will not
include any free technical support. Once you are satisfied that our
connection in good and feel confident that we will be able to work on
your computer, you may purchase time by using any of our payment methods
and our technicians will continue to repair your machine. |
|
| Out
highly skilled technicians are able to cover almost software
repairs, updates, and configurations. Such items include virus removal,
spy ware removal, computer speed issues, hard drive blue screen issues,
data loss and recovery issues, network connection issues, and hardware
addition/configuration. Our services do not include actual hardware
installation. For example, while we can make the computer faster by
eliminating unneeded programs and freeing up memory, we would be unable
to add an actual stick of memory to the machine via our live support.
However, we would be able to inform you if additional memory is what you
needed and also let you know what the cost should be if you go to a
local computer store or retail chain. |
|
|
If your repair requires services beyond those within our realm, we
will inform you as to what it is you need and will guide you as to the
proper way to achieve this. You will receive detailed instructions
regarding the necessary steps for proper repair and can even opt to
bring your machine to our local facility for further work. You will be
charged our standard diagnostics fee of $35.00 and no other per-minute
charges will apply. |
|
|
Individuals and/or companies in need of 24-hour service and support
may pay a monthly retaining fee and then receive a discounted
after-hours billing rate or you may simply request after-hours support
at our regular after-hours rate by calling our 24-hour help line. Please
note that only customers that have given us a credit card or other
payment method on file will be permitted to use our after-hours extended
support. For pricing and other information please visit our sales link
at the top of this page. |

VNCTech.com realizes that security
and privacy are key in this business and that is why we offer the
highest level of customer security. There are two methods of security
that we have in place to ensure that your data and hardware will never
be at risk. The first, our session identification numbers, are changed
for each session. Once a session is ended, the number becomes invalid
and can no longer be used to access the machine. Clients have full
control to end a session at any time, voiding the session identification
number, and successfully blocking any further access from our
technicians. Our second form of security is the client acceptance link
that must be clicked by our clients before our technicians are able to
gain access to a machine. Simply stated, if you do not click the box
which grants our technicians access, they can never gain access
into your computer. By using these two highly secure methods, our
clients can be confident that we will never gain unauthorized access
into a computer system. Once last note to keep in mind is that, unlike
computer store repairs where you simply drop your computer off and come
back later to pick it up, our clients get to watch the entire repair
live from their chair. What we see is what you see thus allowing you to
fully monitor all the work that is being done. |
|
|
While dial-up and cellular connections still allow for our
technicians to gain access a computer, it is best that our clients have
high speed access. Since we are a bill-per-minute service provider, the
faster your connection, the faster the repair, and the lower your bill
will be. This being said, we can work with dial-up, cellular, satellite,
dsl, cable, lan, wan, and other forms of connections. |
